Older adults are a growing majority of consumers, but most design is created for younger consumers. Golden Age User Experience provides innovative and effective ways to improve the user experience and user interface (UX/UI) for consumers over the age of 50 (UX+), via an integrative UX approach that considers various cognitive changes that accompany the aging process. UX design for people over 50 is often done by people under 50, creating a challenge for designers and users that requires a change in perspective and approach.
Using cutting edge theory and application research in consumer behavior, cognitive neuroscience and the psychology of aging, UX can be brought to another level for the growing number of mature consumers (the UX+ approach). Golden Age UX+ evaluates and revamps the user experience, providing accessible and engaging ways to enhance access for people of all ages.
